Georgia gubernatorial candidate Kandiss Taylor told Ann Vandersteel during the Dec. 28 episode of “Steel Truth” on Brighteon. TV that the statutes of limitations on sex crimes are allowing pedophiles to go free. Taylor said it sometimes takes decades for victims to come out and the guilty must be held accountable for what they’ve done.
“When the victims get 5-10 years down the road, and they finally say, ‘You know what, this was wrong. This robbed me of my innocence, I’m still being affected, and my sex life today. And the way I view myself in the world because of what happened to me and what was stolen from me.’” said Taylor, who also stressed that she will also tackle the issues of horrific crimes that happened decades ago.
Taylor pointed out that the average pedophile has 300 victims. She said she will focus on constitutional law and prison reform on her campaign because a pedophile is still abusing and being allowed to abuse because of the flawed system. “I’m just a human who loves people. I’m going to help people because that’s what we’re supposed to do. The government is here for our protection,” said Taylor.
Both Taylor and Vandersteel agreed that the present criminal justice system was set up to protect sexual predators. “We know about Jeffrey Epstein and I know about sex trafficking and the sickos in the government who are using children,” said Taylor, who holds a degree in counseling. “Frankly, a child’s life is ruined. They never really recover from something like that.” (Related: REPORT: Corrupt FBI covering up the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein.)
While stressing that the statutes of limitations protect the offenders, Taylor bared that she will also deal with the issue of ports in Georgia being used for sex trafficking as reported by the Child Protective Services (CPS). Taylor said she that most states that do child support recovery are getting money from the government. “Yes, we should pay child support. But this idea that the government gives money to organizations that force child support is wrong,” she said.
Vandersteel said she knows of kids being taken unjustly from their parents.
“I know a family of seven in that had their seven children taken from them due to alleged financial problems by the parents. At some point, the government chose to take the kids and the amount of money they spend on each child far outweighed what they could have collectively spent on this family in terms of support while they got back on their feet. So they spent more money separating the family out than they did keeping it together,” Vandersteel said.
Taylor expressed confidence that she will win the gubernatorial race. “I’m going to win this race because the people want me. They don’t want career establishment politicians. I want to put morality over money.”
If she wins, Taylor said she will tackle gun rights, election reform and immigration. “Everywhere I go, I hear about paper ballots number recognition and I hear about income tax reform. And there is immigration and prison reform because we have more people incarcerated on parole and probation in Georgia compared to other states,” Taylor said. “Our system is very fragile. When I become Governor, if the statute of limitations is not expired on arresting these people, I’m gonna do everything I can for accountability. ”
Vandersteel endorsed Taylor as governor. “The part that resonates with me the most is Kandiss’ love of our Lord, and all of the fundamental rights of our Constitution. Truly you are a grassroots candidate that’s listening to the pulse of the people of Georgia.”
An emotional Taylor said Vandersteel’s endorsement is huge. “We’re women who are are stepping up. If these men would have done their job, I wouldn’t be running, I don’t even care about being the governor of Georgia, I really don’t, I love my job. I fight for victims every day. And for the homeless, I love my job. But I can’t allow my children not to be free. And Georgia, I can’t sit here and not have that for our future.” said Taylor.
