Kamala Harris let a Democrat sexual harasser off easy when she was the California AG, proving she’ll look the other way when Left breaks the law

Any fair-minded American will agree that President Barack Obama destroyed the reputations of the Justice Department and the FBI after politicizing both agencies during his tenure.
From running guns into Mexico to interfering with local policing under the guise of ‘combatting racism,’ to cutting off gun shops to financial services via “Operation Chokepoint,” to clearing Hillary Clinton of criminal mishandling of classified emails, to Spygate, it is clear that under Obama, the Justice Department and FBI became little more than his personal political enforcers.
As President Trump and current Attorney General William Barr attempt to repair the damage and restore integrity and honesty to both agencies, a leading Democratic presidential contender would likely return both agencies to their previous politicized status were she to win in November 2020: Sen. Kamala Harris of California.
As noted by Breitbart, Harris came under renewed scrutiny last week over a plea arrangement she reached with an influential Democrat, former San Diego Mayor Bob Filner, who was accused of sexual harassment:
Filner was the first Democrat to be elected to mayor in San Diego in 20 years, and identifies with the “progressive” wing of the party. Breitbart News, which covered the Filner harassment scandal as it unfolded, described it later as “replete with multiple victims, Gloria Allred press conferences, and marches by outraged citizens.”
As further reported by the Washington Examiner, about 20 women made accusations against Filner in 2013 after he had served as a Democratic lawmaker-turned-mayor of “sexual harassment and misconduct.”
Some of the women complained that he would put them in “Filner headlocks.”
At the time, Harris’ office came under considerable fire for letting Filner cop a plea to state charges of false imprisonment and battery against three Jane Does so he would get a light sentence. He could have faced as many as five years in prison, but instead the plea bargain led only to three months’ house arrest, three years’ probation, and the partial loss of his pension as San Diego mayor.
There are other reasons why we shouldn’t vote for her next year
Ian Sams, a spokesman for Harris’ 2020 presidential campaign said: “She prosecuted a politician from her own party for sexual harassment, and he pled guilty to a felony. She was broadly praised for taking action, including by the Republican San Diego County district attorney who said it sent ‘a strong message that nobody is above the law, abuse of women won’t be tolerated and victims will be treated with respect.’” (Related: Kamala Harris caught in blatant LIE about school desegregation… do liberals just fabricate everything?)
That’s thin, especially in light of the fact that Harris claims to be such a champion of the #MeToo movement and gave then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh such grief during questioning over allegations of sexual impropriety that couldn’t even be substantiated by friends of the accuser, Christine Blasey Ford.
In addition, as Breitbart noted, Harris has also come under heavy criticism recently for accepting campaign donations from lawyers with the Kirkland and Ellis firm after hammering the firms’ alumni for previous work involving convicted billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who is now facing new, additional allegations of sexual assault and improprieties involving underage girls.
Here are some additional reasons to oppose Harris for president, besides letting fellow Democrat sexual harassers off the hook:
— While this ‘woman of color’ complains about the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement policies that send other ‘people of color’ to detention centers after breaking into our country, as California’s AG she sent 120,000 ‘people of color’ to prison on her watch.
— Harris has demonstrated an anti-Christian bigotry, as evidenced by her aggressive, tainted questioning of then-attorney Brian Buescher, who POTUS Trump nominated for the federal bench, questioning his membership in a benign, charity-supporting male Catholic group: Knights of Columbus.
Maybe Kamala Harris should brush up on the Constitution. It forbids the application of “religious tests” for any candidate for public office under Article IV, Sect. 3.
