Lawmakers — that is, those who really care about the safety, security, and viability of America — are learning more details about one of the biggest acts of treason in modern history.
And no, it isn’t the election of President Donald J. Trump, though it is certainly related to his Democratic opponent and her former president husband.
As reported by political operative Dick Morris, writing in The Western Journal, the attorney for FBI informant William D. Campbell said her client informed congressional committees that the Russians “bragged that [Bill and Hillary] Clinton’s influence in the Obama administration would ensure CIFUS (Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States) approval for [the] Uranium One deal.”
And, Campbell’s attorney Victoria Toensing noted further, he “was right.”
Morris noted that before CIFUS — a panel on which Hillary Clinton, as secretary of state, sat — could approve the Uranium One deal, nine investors in the company gave a total of $145 million to the Clinton Foundation.
He noted further:
The deal called for the United States to allow Russia to purchase 20 percent of our uranium reserves, giving Russia access to vastly more uranium than we have.
Campbell testified that Russia’s goal was to achieve global hegemony over the supply of uranium.
The Russians sought the Uranium One deal very aggressively.
Alt-Left commentators and the American Pravda media — when they have addressed this treason at all — have covered for Clinton, always claiming that, hey, she wasn’t the only one on the approving panel and besides, she was never personally involved in approval of the deal anyway.
So why buy her off? Why buy off her husband and their foundation with $145 million in contributions — if they had nothing to do with approving the deal?
No one has yet to refute the fact that the Clintons’ foundation received this amount from people with a personal stake in the deal. What’s more, regardless of the “fact-checking” that has taken place thus far by various websites, not a single one of them has talked to William D. Campbell, at least to my knowledge.
Morris goes on to state that according to Campbell, in the years before the approval process by the U.S. government came up, Russia placed 10 spies in the United States with a singular mission, and that was to get close to Hillary Clinton so she would help approve the deal. As it happened, the FBI managed to uncover the gaggle of spies about a year before the deal was set to be approved. “The Bureau acted to arrest the spies when it did because one of them had risen to a high position in a company owned by Hillary’s finance chairman,” Morris wrote.
In addition to the foundation, Bill Clinton himself also profited handsomely during this period. Russian President Vladimir Putin, Morris writes, “arranged for [him] to address the Renaissance Bank in Moscow, an institution closely connected to the Kremlin.”
For that, the ex-POTUS was paid a fee — which was personal income for him and his then-Secretary of State wife — of $500,000.
For a speech. What words of wisdom and insight from Bill Clinton could possibly be worth a half-million dollars — a cheap investment for one-fifth of all U.S. uranium?
Morris adds other players involved in this scandal:
To try to keep word of the Uranium One deal under wraps and to bury the story about the Russian spies, FBI Director Robert Mueller arranged for the suspects to take plea bargains admitting to minor offenses and then spirited them out of the country quickly — in a prisoner exchange with Russia — before the media could interrogate them.
Two Justice Department attorneys who were overseeing the investigation, by the way, include current Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and recently ousted FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
