While it might feel encouraging to hear reports about domestic terrorist “protesters” finally being taken into custody for their crimes, too many of them are being immediately bailed out by corrupt, George Soros-backed district attorneys (DAs) – in some cases numerous times in a row.
Take 26-year-old Kristopher Michael Donnelly of Kelso, Wash., for instance. He was reportedly arrested and released four different times over the past several months, the possible good news being that his most recent arrest appears to have escalated to actual federal charges.
However, the previous three arrests all had the same outcome: quick bail or release by the county. Independent journalist Andy Ngô covered the Donnelly saga at-length in a recent piece he wrote for The Post Millennial, illustrating the corruption that exists within the highest levels of government to keep violent terrorists on the streets rather than in prison where they belong.
Back on Aug. 5, Donnelly was arrested after being filmed using a hammer to destroy a window at the Portland Police Bureau’s (PPB) East Precinct. Donnelly was also seen throwing objects at police, refusing to disperse when ordered, and blocking traffic.
Upon being arrested, Donnelly forcefully struck an officer in the face while continuing to resist arrest when several others tried to subdue him. He was taken into custody for felony riot, felony criminal mischief, felony assault of a public safety officer, resisting arrest, and numerous other charges, only to be released on $5,000 bail.
Three days later on Aug. 8, Donnelly was arrested a second time while rioting outside the Penumbra Kelly Building, a police facility. Despite facing another round of similar charges upon second arrest, Donnelly was ordered to be released without bail by a judge.
Donnelly’s third arrest occurred on Aug. 23, and once again involved charges of felony riot, resisting arrest, and interfering with a peace officer. He once again received a $5,000 bail, which was quickly paid by those funding these “peaceful protests” behind the scenes.
One week later on Aug. 30, Donnelly was arrested a fourth time for disorderly conduct and interfering with a peace officer. This time he was transferred to federal authorities, and recently had his first appearance in federal court.
“If convicted in federal court, Donnelly faces a maximum sentence of five years in federal prison,” Ngô explains.
Many Americans are coming to the realization that they need to get up-to-speed on their self-defense skills in order to ward off terrorists like Donnelly from harming them and their families. Check out PrepWithMike below to learn more:
One might argue that Donnelly’s first arrest and subsequent bail situation was a simple mistake, especially since there are many others like him being arrested and bogging down the system. But the only excuse for arrests two, three, and four is a broken criminal justice system that caters to criminals.
The irony of Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Antifa terrorists like Donnelly claiming that the system is “unjust” is the fact that it is actually unjust in their favor, at least in Portland where no crime these days goes punished.
That dangerous criminals like Donnelly are allowed to continue committing the same crimes they were arrested for prior, over and over again, is proof positive that the system is, in fact, broken and in need of reform. It is just not the type of reform that people like Donnelly are “protesting” to achieve.
“The judges need to be arrested,” wrote one Twitter user towards this end. “How do you set a bail on somebody who’s been arrested twice in three days, let alone three times or four times in a month?”
