Steve Bannon accuses Pelosi, Schiff and mainstream media of colluding on 11th-hour impeachment revelations: ‘We need a full investigation’

Steve Bannon, the former White House chief political strategist, called for an investigation into what certainly appears to have been a well-timed, coordinated effort to introduce new ‘evidence’ on the eve of the House transmitting impeachment articles on President Trump to the Senate.

Bannon, appearing on the Fox Business Network with host Trish Regan, accused top Democrats of colluding with members of the mainstream media after the impeachment articles appear to have been deliberately “slow-walked” in order to better coincide with “bombshell revelations” regarding the Ukraine story, Zero Hedge reported.

“Why did they time this? Why did they wait?” Bannon, who’s familiar with the political chicanery of Washington and Democrats in particular, asked.

You may recall that the Democrat-led impeachment — no House Republicans supported the two articles — are supposedly related to the president’s alleged wrongdoing in his dealings with the government of Ukraine. Democrats have accused the president of threatening to withhold military aid from Ukraine unless that country agreed to investigate Joe and Hunter Biden.

House Democrats held their impeachment inquiry largely in secret, hand-picking “witnesses” while refusing to allow minority Republicans to call any or to allow the president’s lawyers to be present. What’s more, not a single witness accused the president of breaking any laws or were witnesses to anything that transpired between a phone call Trump had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

When none of that panned out, apparently Democrats, assisted by their media propagandists, concocted ‘new evidence’ that supposedly suggests that Trump led a conspiracy to undermine the Ukrainian government for his political benefit.

Bannon wasn’t buying it.

‘I think there was collusion’

“First off, Rachel Maddow should be a witness of fact now. She should be brought in,” replied Bannon – referring to the seemingly coordinated media blitz surrounding Lev Parnas, an indicted former Rudy Goiliani associate whose undated, hand-written notes appear to support the claim that President Trump pressured Ukraine into investigating Joe Biden for corruption.

“We ought to have all the emails and all the text messages between Schiff, between Nancy Pelosi, Phil Griffin at MSNBC News,” he continued. “We ought to bring the whole thing out. How did this get dropped? Why have they been working on this for so long? How did this just come about at the last second?

“She admitted she’s been working on this for months, and the House just got this. “I think there was collusion between MSNBC, Rachel Maddow, Lev Parnas’s attorneys, and the entire process,” Bannon asserted.

Regan asked, “So why did this not come forward earlier?”

Bannon noted that the co-conspirators had to have their “big reveal” at a time when it appeared to be some huge “bombshell” development — only the latest in a series of supposed ‘bombshells’ dating back three years now.

Only, all of these bombshells have been duds. Because everything President Trump has been accused of has been manufactured — lies perpetuated by a compromised media establishment that is in the tank for the Donkey Party.

“This is all total hearsay from a guy trying to talk his way into a lesser sentence because he’s already indicted. It’s so obvious what he’s trying to do,” Bannon said.

Meanwhile, adding to the suspicion that the new revelations are part of a coordinated Deep State campaign to accentuate impeachment is the fact that the Government Accountability Office dropped a report about the same time this week accusing Trump of having broken the law by temporarily withholding military aid from Ukraine.

The Office of Management and Budget, by contrast, disputed that and said the delay was proper.

In any event, it’s clear that Democratic leaders and members of the media are engaged in an ongoing coup attempt against a duly elected president; when will there be legal consequences?
